Big firm capabilities. Small firm character.

G&G Partnership (G&G) has been providing accounting, assurance, and creative tax minimization strategies to individuals, corporations and entrepreneurs for more than four decades.

Conveniently located in Toronto’s York Mills neighbourhood, we are a full-service entrepreneurial accounting firm with a wide range of professional services designed to simplify and add value to our client’s business needs.

Our partners, Jeff Goldberg, Philip Goldband, Peter Poulimenakos, YongHo Choi, Edward But and associate Debbie Spence bring a depth and breadth of experience. Together with our team of specialized senior professionals, we work to get to know our clients. We’ll recommend accounting and tax strategies, customized to your specific needs.

Our multi-disciplined approach provides traditional accounting services including audit, review and compilation of financial statements, as well as preparing corporate and personal tax returns.

But there’s much more to us than that.

We drill down with each and every client to create further value.

We develop and implement personalized tax strategies to minimize tax and assist in succession and estate planning, as well as develop insurance strategies where needed.

Our practice is situated in the Coldwater Business Centre, which is home to several other professionals in complementary disciplines, including lawyers, a business broker, and financial planners. Our relationships with our neighbours means we provide you and your business with a one-stop shop.

Partnering with G&G doesn't feel like a typical accounting firm relationship, because it's not.

Let us show you what G&G can do for you.

Our approach is to start with the traditional areas of bookkeeping, accounting and tax services.

But this is just the beginning.
We then raise the bar for each and every client.

Accounting and Auditing

The core of our practice consists of traditional compilation, review and audit services. We tailor all accounting and auditing services to your specific requirements.  Assurance work (reviews and audits) can be prepared under any of the Canadian financial reporting frameworks, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO).

We also prepare cash flow projections for lenders, offer management information system recommendations and update IT applications.

Estate and Retirement

Developing an estate and succession plan is integral to your financial success. It can be as simple as reviewing and updating an existing will with a codicil, or in more complex situations a complete reorganization of a corporate group with the introduction of holding companies and family trusts.

Corporate and Personal Tax

The complexities of Canadian income tax law, changes to Canada’s Income Tax Act and strict General Anti-Avoidance Rule (GAAR) regulations require a serious commitment from a progressive practice. We have made this commitment.

Our focus is to develop tax strategies to minimize your tax, so you and your business retain as much after-tax income as possible.

Cross Border Tax

Our Cross-Border Tax team has the expertise to meet your international tax needs.

We are uniquely positioned with in-house Canadian and U.S. tax professionals to focus on Canada-U.S. cross-border tax work for American citizens and green card holders who live in Canada and Canadian individuals and businesses that have income from the U.S.   Canada-U.S. tax rules are complicated and require a comprehensive and integrated approach to ensure compliance with Canada and U.S. tax rules and to avoid double taxation.  G&G has made a significant commitment to creating a team, both here and in the United States, of experienced CPAs dedicated to assisting clients with their U.S. filing requirements. In 2018, we created a new association with a cross-border tax practice located in Florida (CBTA). This provides significant resources and infrastructure to further service the needs of our U.S. cross-border clients.

Please contact us for your cross-border tax needs.
